Suspended Sculpture as a Spatial Experience
Unlike a conventional floor-standing sculpture, this piece demonstrates the overhead display and suspension logic needed for atrium and large-volume commercial interior applications. The floating pose allows the sculpture to be read from multiple directions while creating a stronger sense of movement and visual presence.

The finished sculpture was produced as a full physical object rather than a digital concept or display render. The completed form preserves the original suspended posture, suit folds, hoses, hand position and mirrored visor treatment.

Sculptural Form & Surface Detail
The surface contains a combination of soft suit folds, ribbed hoses, gloves, boots and hard-edged helmet details. These transitions need to remain visually clear after fabrication and finishing.
The deep-blue painted surface was controlled across both smooth and highly articulated areas, while the mirrored visor provides a contrasting finish that becomes a major visual feature of the completed sculpture.

Suspension & Installation Logic
